Mood Tapestry ("the App") is developed and operated by StayYoung Studio ("we", "us", "our"), a solo development studio based in Istanbul, Turkey. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

Data We Collect

When you use Mood Tapestry, we may collect the following information:

• Mood entries: The colors, intensity levels, and optional notes you log each day. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to sign in, synced to our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) so you can back up and restore your tapestry.
• Account information: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name from the identity provider. We do not receive or store your password.
• App settings: Your palette selection, weave style, custom emotion names, and notification preferences.
• Anonymous analytics: We use Mixpanel and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as which features are used, how often the app is opened, and general engagement patterns. This data does not identify you personally.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the core mood tracking and tapestry visualization experience
• To sync your data across devices when you sign in
• To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
• To send you optional push notifications (daily reminders, milestones) if you opt in

Data Storage and Security

Your mood entries and settings are stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a secure cloud database. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Each user's data is isolated — you can only access your own data when authenticated.

If you do not sign in, your data is stored only on your device in local storage and is not transmitted to any server.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not display advertisements in the App. The anonymous analytics data we collect through Mixpanel and Firebase Analytics is used solely by us to improve the App.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: All your mood entries and settings are visible within the App.
• Delete your data: You can delete all your data at any time using the "Clear all data" option in the App's Settings page. This removes your data from both the device and the cloud.
• Export your data: You can export your tapestry as an image using the export feature.
• Opt out of analytics: Contact us at the email below to request removal from analytics tracking.

Children's Privacy

Mood Tapestry is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Subscriptions and Payments

Mood Tapestry offers an optional premium subscription processed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and Google — we do not receive, process, or store any payment card details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
